I'm a sucker for Franklin, Tennessee. Several times a year I flirt with the idea of moving there, but I always chicken out. But only because I want to settle down there, and as of yet I am not "settled." I especially love old-school Franklin (although all the new construction there has its place, too). This cottage, in walking distance to Franklin's beyond-charming downtown, is a recent renovation that's got lots of sweet spots. Some highlights: Gorgeous hardwoods throughout. Fresh paint inside and out. A breakfast bar. New granite countertops. A big fat den space adjoining the kitchen. Etc., etc., etc.
There are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms inside this 1,462-square-foot house, built in 1950. Aaaaand... a huge, new detached garage with room for two cars--or a car and a hobby. This garage might also one day become a guest house or studio space, as it's already equipped with plumbing for a full bath in the future.
The very best part about this house, though, is the beautiful .34 acre yard with lots and lots of old, established trees and tasteful landscaping in front and back. I especially like the inviting back patio with its pair of ceiling fans. This is just one of those yards--you know, where you can already see the backyard barbecues and a well-used basketball hoop and kids growing up and all of that American dream kind of stuff.

"TJ sold our house in franklin on the first showing! Although TJ helped us buy and sell our home almost three years ago, he continues to help us whenever we need it. He's more than a realtor he's a friend,"
