So, who’s looking to start 2015 fresh — maybe in a new neighborhood, definitely in a new home? Just because we’re knee-deep in Christmas shopping season doesn’t mean we’re short on house-hunting options. This weekend alone, there are loads of great homes in Davidson County and Williamson County hosting Open Houses that’ll give you a chance to explore and imagine yourself in a perfect new place.

Thinking about making some Open House plans?

At TJ Anderson Homes, we work with all kinds of buyers and sellers, from young couples looking to find their first home to growing families hoping to stretch out with more space and more land. With that in mind, I cherry-picked a few Sunday open houses that run the gamut from starter to stately:

A cute starter

{mls: 1590564}

5840 Leslie Ave
Nashville, TN
$229,900

Starting the hunt for your first home? This one’s a new-construction ranch on the west side of town, with 3 beds, 2 baths and 1,300 square feet of space. An open kitchen, great covered porch, hardwood floors, tile baths — not a bad start at all here. Open Sunday 2 to 4 p.m.!

Pretty in pink in East Nashville

{mls: 1594034}

863 Beth Dr
$309,900

It’s tricky these days to find a home in East Nashville with some breathing room, land-wise, so this cottage has a particularly great draw: more than half an acre of property that backs up to the greenway. The charming front porch and open kitchen/living area (with a great fireplace) don’t hurt, either. Open Sunday 2 to 4 p.m.!

A spacious storybook Franklin home

{mls: 1581102}

5619A Pinewood Rd.
Franklin, TN
$459,000

Here’s some serious curb appeal — this 4-bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, 3-story home looks straight out of a storybook, with Victorian-style design (though it was built in 1997). Bored with flat ceilings? There’s lots of unique detail to look up at here. And with more than 5 1/2 acres of land right near Leiper’s Fork, it has ample privacy, ample natural beauty. Open Sunday 2 to 4 p.m.!

Any of those houses along the lines of what you’re looking for? Have designs on something totally different? If you’re looking for some help narrowing down to your perfect new home, I’d be glad to start digging for you. Drop me a line and let me know what you’re looking for!
