For me, personally, you can’t beat a home with property — room to do some landscaping and foodscaping, build a fire pit, maybe set up a shipping container pool.

But after working with homebuyers in Nashville for years, I know that for every homeowner like me who sees infinite possibilities in stretches of grass, there’s another who’s just as determined to keep their weekends free of mowing and weeding.

Do you fall among the latter group, and prefer a property that’s kept up by a condo association? Luckily, we’re not short on cool condo options in the Nashville area. And for this week’s Open House roundup, I picked out some interesting listings that you can stop by and see this weekend.

First, the broader picture:

Then, my cool condo/townhouse picks:

{mls: 1853689}

1080 Riverwood Village Blvd.

Hermitage, TN 37076

$254,900

On the bang-for-buck scale, this Hermitage townhome in the Villages of Riverwood scores really high — it’s a large end unit (just shy of 2200 square feet) with a beautiful two-story great room, in a community that offers lots of amenities, including a pool and fitness center, listed at $117 a square foot. Open Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.

{mls: 1853613}

2310 Elliott Ave., Apt. 121

Nashville, TN 37204

$309,000

Looking for proximity to nightlife? This Park at Melrose condo puts you right on top of top Melrose spots like Sinema and M.L. Rose, and a quick shot from all the dining/shopping in 12 South too. The unit itself isn’t huge, with 1 bed and 1 bath, but it’s a beauty, with a warm and inviting, open main space and lots of big windows. Open Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.

{mls: 1853140}

231 Green Harbor Rd., Apt. 45

Old Hickory, TN 37138

$339,900

Two words: Lakefront condo. Two more words: dock slip. OK just eight more: The club house has a salt-water pool. Open Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.

{mls: 1853773}

218 Porter Village Cir.

Nashville, TN 37206

$369,900

The brand new Porter Village development in East Nashville has some cool details, like second-story porches and quartz countertops, and the location’s just down the street from popular local businesses, like the new Cafe Roze and craft-beer spot Southern Grist Brewing Company. Just blocks away, the Porter/Riverside intersection is in the middle of serious redevelopment — it could be on its way to becoming another Riverside Village-like hub. Open Saturday, 1 to 4 p.m.

{mls: 1853515}

609 Centerpoint Ln

Nashville, TN 37209

$434,900

Cheating a little here, since Richland Station in Sylvan Park isn’t a townhome or condo complex, but a high-density cottage community filled with single-family homes that offer something of the best of both worlds. You have unique architecture in the units (all modeled after historic home designs) and separate walls, but shared green space and a tonight-knit, neighborly vibe. For this highly desired location, you’re getting a lot of home for the money, too — this one’s a 3-bed, 2 1/2-bath property with high-end finishes and a two-car garage. Open Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.

{mls: 1853766}

3110 Long Blvd. C , #401

Nashville, TN 37203

$849,900

This West End condo complex is shouting distance from Centennial Park, and that prime Nashville location comes with prime, luxury finishes inside the units, from Viking appliances to a spacious bonus space outside the master, replete with wet bar. Open Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.
