I’ve kept a long commitment to supporting pet adoption in Nashville — I regularly sponsor dog adoptions and fostering through Metro Nashville Animal Care and Control, and it’s something I’m passionate about continuing to do.

So from time to time here on the blog, I try to spotlight the great adoptable dogs that are looking for forever families. My best pal Ella is an adopted dog, and I can’t imagine life without her — shelter dogs are truly special, and I not only want to see those pups find homes, I want to see friends and clients find as great a dog as I have.

Let’s take a look at a few MACC pups that could be your perfect match — I’m willing to sponsor their adoption (or the adoption of any other dog at MACC), just reach out and let me know!

Up top is 1-year-old lab mix Angel (Pet ID: A119321), a playful and friendly girl who loves people and other dogs and already has great manners (she’ll sit and come when you tell her to). And here are a few other great pups on the adoption floor:

Lucky’s a handsome Australian Cattle Dog mix who’ll be perfect for a family looking for a medium-sized dog that’s full grown, and full of love.

Looking for a little guy with big personality? Nike’s an adult Chihuahua mix that’s ready for couch snuggles and running around outside.

GOMEZ

Beagles and pits are loyal, dedicated breeds, so you can expect young guy Gomez to stick by your side and be overjoyed to do it.

A few things to know about adopted MACC pets: The dogs you adopt will be spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and their rabies license.

Stop by Metro Animal Care and Control (5125 Harding Place) Tuesday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or head to Petfinder to meet these and other adoptable MACC pets. And make sure to let me know if you meet the perfect match — I’d be honored to sponsor!
