Nashville, TN 37209

If you’re drawn toward Hollywood Hills style, we just listed a home in Hillwood that’ll make you need the fainting couch.

Every inch of the nearly 4200 square feet of living space at 809 Hillwood Blvd. (including 4 beds and 5 1/2 baths) beams style, from the dark shaker cabinets in the kitchen to the fantastic pass-through fireplace between the living room/library. And when I say it has a spa-like master bath, that’s not Realtor talk — click through the photos, and you’ll see what I mean

Beyond the interior, this location is tough to beat — a beautiful neighborhood to start off with (and this home has nearly an acre and a half of gorgeous green property), plus it’s a quick jump from Midtown, right on top of Sylvan Park, close to Green Hills

Since Hillwood is as highly desired as it is, homes on the market in the area area don’t tend to be super plentiful — as I was posting this, barely a small handful of homes were listed around 809 Hillwood Blvd.

So, all that said, while I’d love to focus this week’s Open Houses roundup on Hillwood to encourage you to check out the area, the options just aren’t there. So I’ll spread out a little, and give you a look at the listings in the 37209 zip code that’ll welcome you in this weekend.

First, the broader Open House picture:

Then, a few Open Houses in 37209:

507 B Lovell Ave.

Nashville, TN 37209

This cottage in the growing Charlotte Park area could make a great starter home, with 3 beds, 2 baths and a pretty killer sunroom and deck. If outdoor entertaining is high on your must-have list, it’s definitely worth a look. Open Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.

718 Centerpoint Ln.

Nashville, TN 37209

Cottage communities are becoming more popular in Nashville as our population grows, and our density goes with it. Richland Station is a great example of the concept working well, with cute, energy-efficient homes clustered around a really nice shared green space. This 2-bed, 2 1/2 bath property, like its neighbors, is full of upscale finishes, and has a great back deck, too. Open Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.

{mls: 1751137}

414 B 37th Ave. N.

Nashville, TN 37209

For buyers drawn to modern style, this new Sylvan Summit home offers a lot to like — clean, geometric lines, open and airy spaces… The standout, though, has to be the view from the huge roof deck. Open Sunday 2 to 4 p.m.

Have you been thinking about exploring the Hillwood area, or elsewhere in that corner of Nashville? I’d love to show you around, and help you find some properties that fit your wish list. Give me a call and tell me about what you’re looking for!

Except where noted, properties are listed with their own respective real estate firms, and not under agreement with TJ Anderson and/or Benchmark Realty, LLC.
