Just about every week, I try to share the weekend’s Open Houses in Davidson County and Williamson County, spanning every price point, size and area, in case you’re gearing up for a weekend of seeing what’s out there. Like this:

Since that adds up to quite a few homes — more than a hundred on an average weekend — I also like to round up some Open House homes that fill a specific niche, whether it’s a neighborhood, a particular feature or a design style. Since we’ve all been bundled up against a single-digit cold blast this week, my mind’s on warmer months, and enjoying the out of doors without shivering. As I was looking through this weekend’s Open Houses, homes with particularly great outdoor living spaces caught my eye.

If you’d like to immerse yourselves in daydreams of lemonade on the patio with me, check out these 5 homes, open this weekend:

{mls: 1599126}

1012 Davidson Rd.

Nashville, TN

$469,500

This fully renovated 3-bed, 3-bath mid-century home in West Meade got some serious kitchen and bath upgrades, but one of its best attributes: a massive, multi-level deck that overlooks a private yard full of mature trees. Open Sunday 2 to 4 p.m.

{mls: 1560128}

1207D Ashwood Ave.

Nashville, TN

$619,900

A lot of cool touches in this new construction, Victorian-style home — high-end finishes, tons of natural light, a beautiful, open main floor. But outside, some extra-special details, including multiple covered porches and the clincher: an incredible roof deck with a full outdoor kitchen. Open Sunday 3 to 6 p.m.

{mls: 1577296}

325 Canton Stone Dr.

Franklin, TN

$719,000

You have multiple ways to enjoy the amply treed and attractively private near-half-acre lot that comes along with this well-appointed 4-bed, 4 1/2 bath Franklin home: a beautiful stone-paved patio that feels like an upscale hotel courtyard, and — maybe even better — a huge Florida room with a vaulted ceiling and walls of windows that let you revel in all the greenery comfortably on even the hottest summer days. Open Sunday 2 to 4 p.m.

{mls: 1580383}

1645 Grassmere Rd.

Franklin, TN

$759,900

Click through to the patio behind this Westhaven 4-bed, 4-bath home — between the paver design, the gorgeous pergola and the hardscaping/landscaping, you’ll feel like you’re seated outside a Sonoma winery. Open Sunday 2 to 4 p.m.

{mls: 1583134}

397 Glen West Dr.

Nashville, TN

$885,000

A newer home with a historic feel, this Glen Echo place has lots of space inside (4 beds and 3 1/2 baths over nearly 4,000 square feet) and a particularly striking kitchen. Outside, a covered patio perfect for entertaining, overlooking a beautifully landscaped yard and, maybe the best part: salt water pool. Open Sunday 2 to 4 p.m.

Do any of these homes get your attention? Thinking about checking out Open Houses with totally different criteria this weekend? If you’re looking for some guidance and an ally to help you narrow your search down to the perfect home, let me know!
