Weekend Open Houses And A Quick Look At Woodbine
by TJ Anderson
We’re just days away from properly introducing you to two new properties that I’ve been pouring my heart into for months now: Our understated yet chic farmhouse (above) and era-appropriate foursquare in Woodbine. These new homes — built with masterful care and skill by Infinium Builders — sit on huge lots in a neighborhood that’s become one of the fastest-rising in Nashville.
Like East Nashville, the community is tight-knit and friendly. Like 12 South and Melrose, the location is convenient and vibrant. I couldn’t be more in love with Woodbine, and I couldn’t be more proud of these homes. Truly can’t wait for you to see the detail and design — we channeled our inner JoJo to make sure these were classic, timeless and welcoming, top to bottom.
We’re a minute away from announcing Open Houses at these properties, but if you’ve been giving some thought to Woodbine, I’d encourage you to come explore, see what the neighborhood has to offer and see if it grabs your attention like it does mine.
Properties are going quickly in the 16th District (Woodbine, Radnor and Glencliff), so there aren’t a ton of Open Houses there this weekend, but you can get a quick look at the personality of the place, and some cute, affordable homes.
First, here’s an easy way to look at the larger Open Houses picture this weekend around Middle Tennessee:
Then, a few homes open in Woodbine this weekend:
94 Jay St.
Nashville, TN 37210
Growing Woodbine is a busy mix: new construction, fresh renovations and older family homes, too. This 1949 property is sweet and well-kept, and has some key updates and cute touches (love that metal roof and the bold front door color). It’s a pretty perfect picture of the first-time-buyer-friendly houses you can find in the 16th District. Open Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.
256 Thuss Avenue
Nashville, TN 37211
For the buyer who’s ready for a renovation: There’s a lot of potential in this 1942 brick cottage — on the main floor, you’ve got great hardwoods, original trim and solid wood doors, archways, even some bold beams in the living area. Sweat equity could make this property shine. Open Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.
Feeling intrigued by Woodbine/the 16th District? We’d be glad to tell you more and show you around — email or call and tell me about what you’re looking for!
