Our New Woodbine Build And Other Nashville Open Houses
by TJ Anderson
In case you missed it: Our big news of the moment is 2510 Foster Ave. (pictured above), our just-listed new build in Woodbine. It’s stocked with classic Craftsman charm and an open, airy, modern layout, with 3 beds, 2 1/2 baths, 10-foot ceilings, a big, fenced yard and a bold red exterior that captures the big love we’re feeling for it.
We’ll be hosting an Open House at 2510 Foster this Sunday, Feb. 26, from noon to 4 p.m., and we can’t wait to welcome some Nashville homebuyers in to explore this home. We’re so proud of how it turned out, and we know its new owners are going to have years of happiness here. (Here’s lots more info on/photos of 2510 Foster.)
Since we’re gearing up for this Open House, this week, I’m going to focus my Nashville-area Open Houses roundup on comparable listings all around town — 3 beds, 2-plus baths, around 2000 square feet.
This mix should give you a peek into what this kind of space looks like, budget-wise, in different parts of Nashville. Although it’s grown by leaps and bounds, I still think Woodbine is one of the best buys in town — between location, community and bang-for-the-buck, it’s a Nashville sweet spot right now. But there are lots of great communities to explore in Nashville, and this'll be a broad cross-section.
First, the larger span of options:
Then, my picks:
1809 A Allison Pl
Nashville, TN 37203
Like Woodbine, Wedgewood-Houston is conveniently located, fun and rising fast. This brand new build there has 3 beds, 3 baths and just over 2100 square feet, with an open main floor (with some cool ceiling detail), and attractive bonuses, like a private covered porch off the master. Open Saturday and Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m.
1311 McChesney Ave
Nashville, TN 37216
A nearly new build in Inglewood (built in 2014), this home has big rocking-chair front porch, a master bedroom with a cozy fireplace and an outdoor entertainment space with the firepit setup already in place. Open Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.
1803 Boscobel Street
Nashville, TN 37206
From the sidewalk, you can see the 1912 roots of this Lockeland Springs cottage in the heart of East Nashville. But inside, it’s all brand new, from the bright kitchen to the double-vanity master bath (extra points for the deep blue color choice). Open Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.
926 Caruthers Ave
Nashville, TN 37204
More on the modern spectrum, this 3-bed, 3 1/2-bath home in 12 South is also on the newer side — a 2009 build — and has some really cool design touches, like open stairs, bold backsplash tiles and garage-style doors that open to a roof deck with a killer view. Open Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.
Hope these listings give you some things to chew on, and if you’re househunting in Nashville, we hope to see you at 2510 Foster Ave. for the Open House Sunday. We’ll have our custom 16th District T-shirts there too, so you can tour a beautiful home, and leave with a cool new shirt.
