Earlier this week, I rounded up some neighborhoods in and near Nashville that I believe are still poised for big growth in the coming years.


We all have different needs, desires and concerns when it comes to buying a home, but if you’re a Nashville homebuyer who puts a premium on getting in before an area’s peaked, I think the ones I outlined in that post are your best bets right now.


With those suggestions fresh on our minds, I’m going to gear this week’s Open Houses roundup that way, too.

If your budget is under $300K, finding a home that’d suit a large family, and is conveniently located and not in need of a major overhaul: a pretty big ask in Nashville nowadays. Which makes this 3000-plus-square-foot home in the Highlands of Brentwood, close to Lenox Village, well worth a look. The two-story ceiling in the great room is indeed pretty great, and with 4 beds and 3 1/2 baths, you have a lot to work with, but judging from the photos, not a ton of necessary work.
