Earlier this week, I rounded up some neighborhoods in and near Nashville that I believe are still poised for big growth in the coming years.

We all have different needs, desires and concerns when it comes to buying a home, but if you’re a Nashville homebuyer who puts a premium on getting in before an area’s peaked, I think the ones I outlined in that post are your best bets right now.

With those suggestions fresh on our minds, I’m going to gear this week’s Open Houses roundup that way, too.

First, our broader options:

Then, a few picks that fit into my Nashville neighborhoods-on-the-rise post:

{mls: 1826159}

727 Carlyle Pl

Nashville, TN 37211

A cute 2-bed, 2-bath mid-century cottage in one of our favorite areas, Glencliff/Woodbine, with a half-acre property. A young couple could make a really great start here. Open Saturday, 2 to 4 p.m.

258 Tanksley Ave

Nashville, TN 37211

Looking for something that’s already renovated and updated in Glencliff? Here’s another mid-century home, with a new kitchen/bath and some cool details, like a spiral staircase and barn doors. Open Saturday and Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.

1225 Brentwood Highlands Dr

Nashville, TN 37211

If your budget is under $300K, finding a home that’d suit a large family, and is conveniently located and not in need of a major overhaul: a pretty big ask in Nashville nowadays. Which makes this 3000-plus-square-foot home in the Highlands of Brentwood, close to Lenox Village, well worth a look. The two-story ceiling in the great room is indeed pretty great, and with 4 beds and 3 1/2 baths, you have a lot to work with, but judging from the photos, not a ton of necessary work. Open Saturday 10 a.m. to noon.

{mls: 1782030}

3123 Kinross Ave

Nashville, TN 37211

This larger, circa-1940 home in Glencliff is really going to appeal to buyers with a specific set of needs/wants: a mix of historic details and updates, room to spread out, a potential income unit plus a large detached space for work/creativity/etc. Open Saturday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
