219 Haverford Ave in Hillwood is GORGEOUS
The place: 219 Haverford Ave, Nashville, TN 37205
The going rate: $650,000
So, I can't decide what's more amazing about this West Meade house. Is it this sun room, which is so home magazine worthy I can't even stand it, with its dark, shining floors and rough-hewn wood beams and all those windows (and the other wall--you can't see it in this photo--is made of brick with weeping mortar).
Or maybe what I love best about this house is this distinctive fireplace in the master bedroom:
But, no, actually it has to be this kitchen, which is just crammed with delights.
Anyway, what I'm getting at is: This house is truly great. Every room is impressive in its own way. And its price was reduced just this week by 15K.
Some deets: It's 3 beds, 3 baths, 2,241 square feet, built in 1934, renovated in 2012. Sitting on just about an acre of land.
The house is distinguished by weeping mortar around the brickwork, lots of sunlight, original ironwork, hardware and wavy glass. The master suite also stands out with its his/her vanities and big ol' walk-in closet. There are three patios to hang on, as well as a separate 540 square foot music studio and workout room behind the house. (This is not included in the square footage figure listed above.) Plus, there's a two-car garage.
As far as location goes, 219 Haverford Ave. is just a stone's throw from the Belle Meade Country Club and Harding Pike.
So, yeah, this here is pretty much just a beautiful, tasteful, special house from head to toe. Want to see it for yourself? Contact us to set up a time.
