Earlier this week, I dug into some reasons relocating to Williamson County might be right for you.

What with it being Super Bowl week, I thought it was worth following up with another reason: lots of well-appointed homes available with decked-out media rooms, already set up for Super Bowl Sunday parties.

You might have to wait for next year with any of these homes on the market in Franklin and Brentwood (I’m good at getting quick closings to happen, but no one’s that good). But in the meantime, there’s Netflix nights, video game tournaments and plenty of other reasons to keep a media room busy. Some current home listings that caught my eye on the Nashville-area MLS below:

609 Pearre Springs Way

Franklin, TN 37064

Touring the rest of this immaculately kept home in Franklin, you wouldn’t expect this full-on mini movie theater to be hiding within. Like many homes in family-friendly Westhaven, it’s a classic Craftsman-style charmer with some farmhouse-y touches. But there you have it — an extra-large cinema space suited for sizable viewing parties, with a full bar built-in right off the seating area.

Brentwood, TN 37027

This huge, high-end home in Tuscany Hills is a white brick beauty, with more than 4500 square feet of space, including two rec rooms and this media room, set up for viewing but a blank slate beyond. Need a second media room? There’s space for expansion in the basement, too.

1745 Charity Dr

Brentwood, TN 37027

This 6,000-plus-square-foot Brentwood home could use a few aesthetic upgrades in many of its rooms, but this media/game room: pretty perfect man cave. There’s a fitness room set up nearby, too.

511 Waxwood Dr

Brentwood, TN 37027

This brick Belle Rive home is traditional and expansive — just shy of 6000 square feet, with 5 beds and 4 1/2 baths, on almost 3/4 of an acre of wooded property. It’s light and clean throughout, and in any other context, this sea-of-stars red carpet would be bizarre. But in this projection screen-stocked media room, it’s fun and picture-perfect.

10 Colonel Winstead Dr

Brentwood, TN 37027

The overall decor at this Brentwood home is regal and elegant — crystal chandeliers and luxe fabrics and old-world details. But they went a little more man-of-the-people here in the simple but still impressive media room, clearly set up for sports nights and the occasional pool/foosball tournament.

Is a media room a big must on your Williamson County househunting wish list? Something else you’re really shooting for? If you’re looking to buy a home in Davidson/Williamson County or nearby, I’d love to help you find the place that suits your needs perfectly. Just call or email TJ Anderson Homes here.
