The report I was just reading about how Nashville is now a “luxury housing market to watch” had some Williamson County findings, too. For luxury buyers, it said, Williamson is the place to go for sprawling estates on big plots of land.

I can’t argue with that — there are plenty of impressively large, impeccably kept homes in Franklin and Brentwood that buyers with big budgets fall for, daily. But like all of Middle Tennessee, Williamson County isn’t a one-note place to live, and that’s only becoming more true every year.

Buyers who want a more urban lifestyle — condo life with no yard work and amenities aplenty — are also finding what they need south of Nashville. Especially as new construction in the area keeps ramping up.

Intrigued about moving your condo search outside of Nashville? Below, some Franklin TN condos for sale that might fit the bill:

6051 Rural Plains Circle, #308

Franklin, TN 37064

Walk out the doors of The Alicia, a Town Center Home at Berry Farms, and wander over to grab dinner at Soulshine Pizza Factory, follow it up with frozen custard at Whit’s, maybe a nightcap at Benchmark Pub, then grab those last few grocery needs at Publix, and barely put half a mile on your shoes in the whole process. Buyers who want that built-in community feel are getting better and better served in Franklin communities like these. These particular homes are new, too, outfitted with energy-efficient details and 9-foot ceilings.

Longtime Middle Tennesseans still tend to think of Cool Springs as a place you go to shop, or to work. But it’s growing as a residential hub, and has been for some time now. Communities like Ashton Park underline the draw: You're right down the way from the Cool Springs Galleria, still among the rolling Franklin hills, in a community of classic townhomes that look and live like single-family homes. This particular unit, built in 2007, is an end unit with a private courtyard.

150 Front Street #22

Franklin, TN 37064

Westhaven in Franklin has long been a top choice for Middle Tennessee families, but its draw is broadening, especially with new-construction communities like the 150 Front Street Condos right in the Westhaven Town Center. These homes and that location offer high-end living with urban walkability and small-town vibes — quick access to boutiques, bars, restaurants, festivals and more.

320 Liberty Pike - Unit 208 , #208

Franklin, TN 37064

The newer Jamison Station community has a few particularly compelling bragging rights: It’s right next to the Factory at Franklin, and the dining, shopping and events there, and it’s right down the road from The Park at Harlinsdale Farm, where the annual Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival goes down. There’s lots to get excited about inside this 4324-square-foot unit’s doors, too — that open and airy feel, cool industrial touches, high-style finishes, private workout facility… If you’re a stickler for storage, you’ll be wowed here, too.

Think you might like to take a look around the Franklin condo market? I’d be beyond happy to help. Call or email TJ Anderson Homes, and tell me about your wish list.
