A 2017 Stocking Stuffer For Nashville Predators Fans And Dog Rescue Supporters

Probably a pretty good guess: There are a few Nashville Predators fans on your holiday shopping list.

Definitely a good guess: There are some Nashville dog lovers on your holiday shopping list.

If a loved one or two fits in the middle of that Venn Diagram, too, I have a stocking stuffer suggestion: the 2018 Preds & Puppies Calendar, Benefiting Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue.

My fiancé and I are both huge supporters of dog rescue and dog adoption (I have a standing offer to sponsor dog adoptions through MACC, so if you’re ever looking to add to your family and could use help, just let me know). And — at least in terms of sports — nothing’s been making us more happy lately than the Preds, so this new charitable endeavor/Christmas present caught my eye. (Shhh, don’t tell her about this blog post.)

The gist of why I wanted to share about it:

The Nashville Predators Foundation — a charity organization focused on using the team’s platform and fans’ excitement to help the Nashville community — combined forces with Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue this season (in addition to a few other featured charities), with an aim of contributing to the organization’s medical care costs. Those costs can be considerable: Proverbs helped nearly 1200 cats and dogs find homes just in 2016, and those pets all needed and received care, from simple shots and microchipping to more serious medical attention.

One of the team’s efforts in support of the animal rescue: this calendar, stocked with shots of Preds players either with their own dog or a Proverbs rescue pup.

Watch the video up to for a making-of peek. If you’re headed to a game, you can buy a calendar for $15 and pick it up at Bridgestone Arena. If you need it shipped: $20.

Know someone who won’t mind getting to keep track of their schedule via Pekka and P.K. holding a puppy? You can grab your 2018 Nashville Predators Player Dog Calendar here. The extra gift you’re giving to Nashville pets who need it: double Christmas cheer.

For some more Christmas shopping help, I rounded up a few gifts I found that are suited for folks who work with their hands, too.

Is a new Nashville home on your Christmas list? I’d love to help you track that down, too. Call or email TJ Anderson Homes here.
