If you were in town this past weekend, I don’t need to remind you: We’re well in the midst of April Showers season. The plants certainly don’t mind, and the burst of green in spring makes for one of the most beautiful times to be in Middle Tennessee.

But given what we do at TJ Anderson Homes, we tend to have the other kind of showers on our minds — i.e. beautiful master baths with spacious stall showers, unique tile work and eye-grabbing fixtures.

Are you a sucker for a beautiful master bathroom? If so, you’re definitely in good company, and I’d count myself among your kind, too. While we wait for the May Flowers, I took a look at some recently listed homes in Nashville, Franklin and Brentwood to find a few April showers/baths worth ogling. Take a look:

{mls: 1626119}

5600B Tennessee Ave.

Nashville, TN 37209

$369,900

Beautiful new construction in Historic West Town/The Nations, this 3-bed, 3-bath home’s crowning glory might be the master shower, almost a spa room unto itself, with beautiful tile work and an eye-grabbing and modern horizontal slit window.

4416 Scenic Dr.

Nashville, TN 37204

$575,500

Crazy about custom tile work? The shower in the master bath in this 3,300-plus-square-foot Green Hills home is a work of art, geared toward homeowners who don’t want your average buyer-neutral tile work. You can escape the April showers, too, on the beautiful covered porch with two breezy fans and lots of space.

{mls: 1625364}

1712 7th Ave. N., Unit A

Nashville, TN 37208

$464,900

This Germantown home’s for those of you who need modern and clean to fall in love. Bright, clean and contemporary top to bottom, that vibe flows from the stained concrete floors to the upscale spa-like bath — white subway tile, frameless glass half-door and multiple rainfall shower heads.

{mls: 1625095}

3412 Stagecoach Dr.

Franklin, TN 37067

$610,000

Spacious master bath hunters: Here’s one to eye. One of four beautiful baths, the master has separate vanities, a sleek tiled shower and a large soaking tub that anchors the room. It’s one of many retreat-like spaces, along with the large covered porch and big, flexible bonus room.

{mls: 1623576}

501 Pearre Springs Way

Franklin, TN 37064

$729,000

Not having to share a vanity in the master is a pretty common luxury; not having to share a shower, a little less common — but what you get with the huge double walk-in shower in this Franklin home. (There’s a large jetted tub, too.)

{mls: 1625436}

710 Ashley Run

Brentwood, TN 37027

$839,900

While I love the sleek and clean contemporary look as much as many homeowners, I also really enjoy it when a warmer, cozier approach is taken, like in the master at this 5-bed, 6-bath Brentwood home. The tile work gives the feel of brick, and the rubbed bronze fixtures — as I mentioned in my roundup of the Hot Home Design Trends of 2015 — are current and classic at the same time.

What do you think of these baths (and the homes they’re attached to)? Anything catching your eye? If a beautiful master bathroom is among your must-haves and you’re looking for help finding it, let me know — I’d love to track your dream bath down.
