I’ve been saying this for years, but it only keeps getting more true: Historic Downtown Franklin is a treasure. Historic charm, small-town friendliness, world-class eating and drinking, walkable fun, one of the coolest theaters in the state — the list of reasons homebuyers find themselves drawn to Historic Downtown Franklin is long and lively, and next time I buy a new home, it’s definitely on my short list of locations.

When I meet a homebuyer looking for a new place in or near Downtown Franklin, their holy grail is usually a turn-of-the-century home that’s already been upgraded and updated, with finishes that don’t fight with the home’s origins. Their ornate bathroom floor tile choices are a personal favorite, but if you’re into cooking, check out the kitchen — that French range is quite the extra.
