Ever dream of owning a home worthy of one of country music’s biggest, most enduring stars? The Wilson Post hipped us to the fact that singer/actress and famous-enough-to-go-by-one-name megastar Reba has her expansive Lebanon estate on the market for just under $8 million.

Judging by the video tour below, the lakefront home earns that healthy asking price, with 83 peaceful and private acres of land (including 1500 feet of lake frontage), and nearly 13,000 square feet of interior space, including 7 bedrooms, 5 full baths and 2 half baths.

The Southern Colonial Lebanon mansion isn’t historic — it was built in 1990 — but the classic design’ll definitely trick you. Stately columns at first glance, an awe-inspiring winding staircase as you first walk through the front door… And among the many, many far-from-standard extras at Reba’s Starstruck Farm: a pool with a guest house that’s more impressive than many of our main residences, a tennis court, 8-car garage, full equestrian facility, and on and on.

It’s fun to explore the photos of this arena-sized home (and if you’re looking for an estate of this stature, I’d be glad to take you out to explore it non-digitally). But I realize the multi-Grammy-winner budget isn’t within grasp for too many of us.

That said, getting to enjoy lakeside Wilson County living doesn’t have to come with a multi-million-dollar budget — there are plenty of properties right on the water out near Reba’s place that come in at much more commonly attainable asking prices.

Here are a few promising properties in the vicinity of Starstruck Farm that I dug up:

Right on the lake with a million-dollar view (and a fishing dock), just over $200K — it’s doable in Lebanon. And this cute home is in great shape, with granite countertops and hardwoods and a massive deck that’ll let you thoroughly appreciate that lakefront property.

The creative musicians/artists among you might fall for this property, with 2 1/2 acres on the lake — how cool is that spiral staircase and A-frame space with loft?

Is the log cabin look more your taste? This 3100-square-foot, 3-bed, 3-bath home is stocked with stone and wood warmth, and leaves you right on the lake, with a private dock and boat ramp and a seriously lovely view.

This larger family home — 4100 square feet — is well kept and tastefully designed, with just shy of half an acre of lakefront property. While it may not have a tennis court and equestrian center, it does have a really awesome basement bar, and that treehouse-style gazebo with hot tub, which aren’t too shabby.

574 Drifting Cir W

Lebanon, TN 37087

This is about 82 acres shy of Reba’s property, but one acre of flat, green land on the lake is certainly nothing to brush off. This place has traditional style, and lots of space (nearly 4400 square feet) too.

Ready to move onto the lake in Reba’s stomping grounds? If lakefront in Lebanon is on your list, let me know — I’d love to help you find the perfect place!
