Saddlecreek Design: Fully Awesome Custom Furniture in Franklin

That’s what Franklin, TN, custom furniture company Saddlecreek Design reports that it’s doing, so sure are they that their pieces will withstand the test of time and taste. And I gotta say–they do look up to the task.

I just recently heard about Saddlecreek and its owner Scott Moore because it’s getting pretty popular in the Franklin community. Homeowners around those parts are commissioning Scott to do casework left and right, as well as swiping up his original designs. Think sliding barn doors and lots and lots of one-off tables and bars.

What’s all the fuss about? Saddlecreek sources reclaimed materials, exotic hardwoods, and local species and combines them with mediums like upholstery, steel, iron work, and glass. And this Scott guy, he’s apparently awesome to work with.

Scott moved his family to the Nashville area from Atlanta in 2009, and his furniture-making business followed several years later. Just recently things got real enough that he opened a showroom in downtown Franklin at 813 Columbia Avenue as a complement to his workshop nearby. Though not open for retail business, the Saddlecreek Design showroom is available to interior designers, architects, and other pros in the market for custom furniture that’s built to last.
