Sheryl Crows Farm For Sale Outside Nashville
If you haven't already, have a look at Sheryl Crow's College Grove, TN, "solar farm" and equestrian property of approximately 150 acres. It includes a 10,264 square-foot home with five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a recording studio, and a theater room. The property--called "Cross Creek Farm"--also features a 14-stall barn with a saloon, indoor riding area, and large pond. In addition, there's a private in-law apartment or nanny quarters and a pool/waterfall/spa. Aaaaand we could probably go on and on, as no expense was spared on this property and its miles of chic rustic style.Crow bought the farm in 2008. She first listed it for sale in March of 2010 and later that year tried unsuccessfully to sell it via an online auction. (Shortly thereafter she purchased a Nashville estate in Forest Hills for $5.2 million.) The price of Cross Creek Farm has fluctuated several times since it was first listed, ranging as high as $7.5 million and as low as $4.5 million. It’s being marketed as a “solar farm,” designed to reduce electric costs by 42 percent, and was recently reintroduced into the national real estate discussion thanks to a Nashville-related write-up in The Hollywood Reporter, which mentioned that Crow's farm was still on the market.
