This week, we’ve been gearing up for a beautiful new home in Inglewood — a new build from Infinium Builders on Maplewood with a wrap-around driveway and deep lot — to hit the market.  So naturally, my head is focused on East Nashville, whose cachet isn’t threatening to wane any time soon. (Thrillist just included East Nashville among its “Coolest Neighborhoods in America," saying that it “oozes cool through its bars, restaurants, and music venues.”)

I’m an ardent lover of East Nashville, from Cleveland Park to Inglewood, and through the years we’ve helped countless clients buy and sell homes there. So for this week’s Open House roundup, I’m looking over the river.

First things first: the full rundown of Open Houses you can pop by this weekend around Middle Tennessee:

And some cherry-picked homes around East Nashville that are among those Open House hosts:

402 Lakehurst Dr.

Nashville, TN 37206

$319,900

Pretty much every section of East Nashville has become highly desirable, but historic Lockeland Springs remains one of the most highly sought-after, and the small section called Little Hollywood — stocked largely with beautiful Spanish-style homes — has extra draw. This cute 3-bed, 2 1/2-bath cottage with a tree swing in the front yard offers a chance to get into Little Hollywood in the low $300s, something you don’t stumble on all that often lately. Open Sunday 2 to 4 p.m.

1411B Lillian St.

Nashville, TN 37206

$359,250

Green-minded? This newer 3-bed, 2 1/2 bath home in Lockeland Springs was designed with energy efficiency and eco-friendliness in mind. It also has gorgeous contemporary finishes, including a bathroom with soaker tub that’ll grab anyone hoping to make their day-to-day spa-like. Open Sunday 2 to 4 p.m.

{mls: 1618591}

1007 Virginia Ave.

Nashville, TN 37216

$397,000

A really unique Tudor in the 37216 with lots of space (nearly 2,800 square feet of it) with lots of draw, from an eye-grabbing fireplace to multiple options for outdoor entertaining (including a screened-in porch and a deck). Open Sunday 2 to 4 p.m.

{mls: 1616974}

700 Eastland Court A

Nashville, TN 37206

$359,900

New construction fans, this one’s for you: a 3-bed, 2 1/2 bath, 2000-square-foot home with clean design that suits the neighborhood’s historic vibe. Open Sunday 2 to 4 p.m.

{mls: 1616189}

903 Rose Park Dr.

Nashville, TN 37206

$327,500

Really cool choices were made with the renovation of this 1965 ranch, from the rustic wood look of the cabinets and striking island in the open kitchen to the eco-friendly bamboo and concrete floors and high-end bath tile work. There’s a double-deck out back, too! Open Sunday 2 to 4 p.m.

Are you looking in East Nashville? I’d love to help you navigate this thoroughly love-worthy (and fast-moving) neighborhood — drop me a line if I can show you around!
